STATE BOARD SEEKING INPUT FOR REVISED CCR MANUAL https://www.osls.org/forums/posts.aspx?topic=639589 Thu, 9 Jul 2026 09:43:44 GMT Thu, 5 Sep 2013 00:54:36 GMT Copyright © 2013 Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors STATE BOARD SEEKING INPUT FOR REVISED CCR MANUAL https://www.osls.org/forums/posts.aspx?topic=639589 https://www.osls.org/forums/posts.aspx?topic=639589 The State Board is updating the Instruction Manual for Certified Corner Records (the Manual) based upon changes introduced in the 2009 BLM Manual of Surveying Instructions.  The Manual was first introduced in 1978 when the Corner Perpetuation and Filing Act became law.  The Manual has only been revised twice in the last 35 years, which is a testament to the thoroughness and vision of its original authors.  Every Professional Land Surveyor practicing in Oklahoma is charged with the responsibility of having knowledge of and following the instructions in the Manual.    

 

Anyone in the surveying community wishing to submit comments, please e-mail bpitts@pels.ok.gov prior to the next regular meeting of the Board on September 26, 2013.
